Brief info
Enrolled with the Bar of Catania (Italy), Francesco graduated in Law with an experimental thesis in international law.
He attended the training course entitled "Making and Saving Deals in the Global Business Environment" on mediation and international trade conciliation, held by the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in collaboration with the Hamline University School of Law (USA) and the ADR Center.
He then worked as an intern at the London office of the U.S. law firm ReedSmith, dealing with real estate law, corporate law and arbitration.
He received his PhD in Private Law and was a member of the Private Law exam commission at the Faculty of Law of the University of Catania.
He lectured on civil liability at the graduate school of Legal Medicine of the University of Catania.
Francesco obtained the license to practice law in 2008 and worked as a civil lawyer.
He received the International Legal English Certificate in English and the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera), both at level C1.
He received his Master's Degree in Translation, specialized in the legal field at the University of Genoa for English-Italian and Spanish-Italian language pairs.
In 2013, he began working as a translator with the Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Catania and later with the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Catania.
In 2014, Francesco began working as a freelance translator for numerous Italian and foreign translation agencies. He is specialized in translations from English, French and Spanish to Italian, and translates documents of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Commission. He is also a reviewer and legal counsel for some of these agencies.
He has been a member of the Internationalization Commission of one of the main Italian farmers' unions and Country Consultant for Italy of a North American company.
Lastly, Francesco is a freelance translator for the Court of Justice of the European Union since 2019.
